Welcome to the Department of Sociology, Mohanlal Sukhadia University,Udaipur. It is my pleasure to extend a warm welcome to all visitors, students, faculty members, and fellow sociologists to our Department's website. The Department has a highly qualified staff. Sociology Department was established in the year 1964.The Department tries to provide a conductive environment for the students to develop their skills and apply them to real world problems. To motivate the students Department arranges guest lectures, seminars, workshops periodically. The students always encouraged by the Department to attend, Participate as well as present papers in various state, national and international level seminars, conferences & workshops arranged by other Universities & Colleges. At our department, we are committed to fostering a rich academic environment that encourages critical thinking, diverse perspectives, and rigorous research. Our faculty members are dedicated scholars who are passionate about exploring a wide range of social issues, from inequality and social justice to culture and globalization. As the Head of the Department of Sociology, I am proud of the vibrant community that we have built here. Our students are the heart of our department, and their enthusiasm for learning and engagement continues to inspire us
